How to choose the nozzle of a water jet loom

(1) On the nozzle body and needle nozzle, there are<number engravings>indicating the size and dimensions.
(2) The nozzle is selected based on the type of weft yarn and the width of the reed
A U-shaped nozzle is a nozzle equipped with a metal stabilizer integrated with the nozzle hole A for processing. Metal voltage regulators cannot be loaded or unloaded.
Note 1) The needle tip is a ceramic product. When using, extra care should be taken to avoid damage.
Note 2) During use, monomers may adhere to the inside of the needle tip, so please perform regular cleaning.
Note 3) The needle nozzle should be used in a completely closed state
Selection criteria for needle tips
The approximate goal is to have 5 weft yarns (knots) that can effectively pass through the inside of the needle nozzle.
Note: If a nozzle body that is not suitable for the thickness of the weft yarn is used in conjunction with the needle nozzle, it will become a cause of poor weft yarn flight.
Installation method of nozzle
1) Front and back direction
(1) Make the crank angle 270 º.
(2) Adjust the nozzle holder to align the front of the steel reed with the center of the nozzle.
2) Up and down direction
With the opening device in a closed state, gently step on the pump foot pedal and adjust the nozzle holder so that the sprayed water can reach the center of the warp yarn.
Adjustment of spray direction
1) Front and back direction
(1) Observe the timing of the contact between the steel reed and the weft yarn through a stroboscope.
(2) By adjusting the bolt, the timing of contact is set to 280 º -285 º.
2) Up and down direction
(1) The fabric surface at the weaving mouth should be parallel to the flying weft yarn.

(2) Aim the strobe at the opening on the power side, observe whether the weft yarn flies in the center of the opening, and make corresponding adjustments through the bolt.
