The solution to the shaking of the loom shaft

After a certain number of years of use, some water jet looms may experience abnormal shaking of their weaving shafts during operation, and this situation is even more severe for domestic looms. It can cause the warp fibers to become fuzzy and prone to breakage, and the silk surface to have irregular horizontal bars or pry bars, resulting in a decrease in production efficiency and product quality. Based on the observation of the production situation, it was found that the main reasons for the abnormal shaking of the loom shaft are:
1. Improper determination of warp tension, especially excessive tension, can easily cause abnormal shaking of the weaving shaft. Therefore, before production, it is necessary to correctly calculate the required total tension of the warp according to the type of warp, the total number of warp threads, and the thickness of the silk thread, in order to determine the weight of the heavy hammer. At the same time, adjust the tension rod of the continuously variable transmission and the tension of the relaxation spring to keep the heavy hammer arm in a horizontal state.
2. Improper tension of the V-belt should be measured by a tension tester, and the position of the V-belt should be adjusted to meet the theoretical requirements.
3. The wear of the main shaft bearing of the weaving shaft causes improper force and abnormal shaking of the weaving shaft. The main shaft bearing should be carefully inspected to see if it is worn, and the bearing sleeve should be checked for wear. If there is wear, it should be replaced in a timely manner, and sufficient lubricating oil should be added during replacement.
4. If the axle bracket and axle bracket cover are worn and can still be used after repair, they should be fully repaired. If they cannot be repaired, they should be replaced in a timely manner and adjusted to meet the installation requirements.
5. Improper gear combination during transmission, resulting in shaking due to improper meshing and poor transmission; The appropriate number of gear teeth should be calculated based on the weft density of the fabric, and the correct module matching should be selected.
6. The gearbox is short of oil, damaged, corroded, and experiences shaking due to improper transmission. It should be corrected in a timely manner to ensure that there is no shortage of oil, damage, or corrosion.
7. If the weaving shaft head is loose and protruding, it should be repaired immediately. If it cannot be repaired in time, it should be repaired promptly when the machine is in use. The tightening pin bolt of the weaving shaft bracket cover is not fully tightened and should be tightened in a timely manner
The reasons for the abnormal shaking of the weaving shaft mentioned above may be one, two, or three. Maintenance workers must observe and analyze carefully during maintenance, and provide timely and serious maintenance after correctly determining the cause.
